GPR technology is increasingly being applied in the design and monitoring of pavement structures, as it enables the identification of critical information required for road design and rehabilitation planning, which cannot be obtained by other testing methods, or only at discrete points. As part of ongoing efforts to expand knowledge related to this technology, this paper draws on the results of investigations conducted in recent years to demonstrate the wide range of professionally relevant pavement structure and condition information that can be obtained through the application of radar technology.
