Abstract

Poly(Lactic Acid) (PLA) is one of the most promising and widely used biopolymers today, which can be produced from renewable resources on the one hand, and biodegradable on the other. At the same time, injection molded PLA products have low heat deflection temperature and impact strength, which is mainly due to the small crystalline fraction. In my work, I compounded multi-molecular weight PLA with talc as a magnesium silicate and investigated the effect of talc on the crystallization and mechanical properties of PLA.

Kivonat

A Politejsav (PLA - Poly Lactic Acid) napjaink egyik legígéretesebb és legszélesebb körben alkalmazott biopolimere, amely egyrészt megújuló erőforrásból előállítható, másrészt biológiai úton lebontható. A fröccsöntéssel előállított PLA termékek ugyanakkor kis hőállósággal és ütőszilárdsággal rendelkeznek, amelyet a késztermék kis kristályos részaránya okozza. Munkámban talkummal, mint magnézium-szilikáttal társítottam a PLA-t és vizsgáltam a talkum hatását a PLA kristályosodására és mechanikai tulajdonságaira.
