Abstract

Ezért a kutatás célja kis fotoelasztikus érzékenységgel bíró átlátszó anyagok feszültségoptikai állandójának meghatározása. A cikk kis vastagságú minták vizsgálatát mutatja be, melyek geometriája az anyag kis érzékenysége miatt kedvezőtlenül hat a mérésre. A mérés során átlátszó szilikon elasztomert és üveget vizsgáltunk hagyományos kalibrálási eljárással és a Senarmont-féle kompenzációs módszerrel.

Kivonat

Calibration of model materials is a fundamental step in stress-optics testing, which is essential not only for stress-optics testing but also for numerical optical modelling of photoelastic materials or for photoelastic sensor development. In these cases, a material with high photoelastic sensitivity may not always be used. Therefore, the aim of the research is to determine the photoelastic coefficients of the transparent materials with low photoelastic sensitivity. The article describes the testing of samples with small thicknesses, whose geometry is unfavourable to measurement due to the low sensitivity of the material. During the measurement, a transparent silicone elastomer and glass were tested by a conventional calibration method and the Senarmont compensation method.
