Low-Earth-orbit satellite systems provide broadband Internet access with substantially lower propaga-tion delay than geostationary systems, but their continuously changing topology introduces pronounced temporal QoS variability. This paper analyses 159,592 approximately five-second Starlink measurement aggregates (798,025 underlying samples) using RTT (Round-Trip Time) level, moving standard deviation, and moving skewness as complementary observables. Data were sampled in July 2026. The mean RTT is 22.92 ms (p95 28.82 ms, p99 33.55 ms) and the global RTT distribution is positively skewed (1.68). A multivariate Hankel embedding with delay dimension 150 shows that adding skewness increases the effective rank from 33.44 for RTT+jitter to 47.22 and raises the number of components required for 95% energy from 55 to 78, demonstrating non-redundant temporal infor-mation in latency asymmetry.
Kivonat
A Föld körüli alacsony röppályás műholdas rendszerek a geostacionárius megoldásoknál lényegesen kisebb terjedési késleltetést kínálnak, ugyanakkor a folyamatosan változó topológia számottevő időbeli QoS-ingadozást okoz. A tanulmány közel 5 másodperces periódusidővel a Starlink rendszer 159.592 mérési aggregátumát (798.025 mögöttes mintát) elemzi az RTT-szint, a mozgó szórás és a mozgó ferdeség együttes felhasználásával. A mérések 2026 júliusában készültek. Az átlagos RTT 22,92 ms, a p95 és p99 percentilis 28,82 ms, illetve 33,55 ms, a teljes eloszlás ferdesége pedig 1,68. A 150 késlel-tetési dimenziójú többváltozós Hankel-beágyazásban a ferdeség bevonása az RTT+dzsitter modell 33,44-es effektív rangját 47,22-re, a 95%-os energia-szinthez szükséges komponensek számát pedig 55-ről 78-ra növeli, ami az aszimmetria nem redundáns időbeli információtartalmát jelzi.
