Collisions between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian from the viewpoint of the pedestrian test dummy

Abstract

The test dummies provide vital information about how the collisions took place and the nature of the accident injuries. For these tests, we constructed an adult-sized pedestrian test dummy and simulated collisions with the help of an electric car. During the research, we made video recordings and analyzed the position of pedestrians in accidents. For the investigations, we put together a data collection system, which measures the acceleration of the dummy, so the course of the accident can be analyzed.

Kivonat

A tesztbábuk létfontosságú információkat nyújtanak az ütközések lejátszódásáról és a baleseti sérülések mibenlétéről. Ezen vizsgálatokhoz készítettünk egy felnőtt nagyságú gyalogos tesztbábut és egy elektromos autó segítségével szimuláltuk az ütközéseket. A kutatás során videófelvételeket készítettünk és elemeztük a gyalogos helyzetét a baleseteknél. A vizsgálatokhoz összeállítottunk egy adatgyűjtő rendszert, ami méri a tesztbábura ható gyorsulást, amely  alapján analizáltuk a baleset lefolyását.
