Kőzettest szilárdság és a geomorfológia kapcsolata a Bükk hegység példáján
Relationship between rock mass strength and geomorphology on the example of the Bükk Mountains

Almost one hundred outcrops were qualified based on Rock Mass Rating (RMR) values. The results show that RMR values do not necessarily correlate with the lithology of the formations. Rather, strong deformation and the presence of brittle and ductile structural elements correspond to poor RMR values. Probably the boundary of structural blocks and the intersections of major faults show very low RMR values, while the interior of structural blocks and ridges as more compact geomorphological features show higher RMR values.
