Characteristics of energy consumption in three European countries

Abstract

The author studied the changes in energy consumption of the world and in three developed European countries, which are Germany, France and the Netherlands in the past decades. The eximination took into account some influencing factors, such as the size of the countries, their topography and climate, and the structure of their energy systems and the correlations between countries, taking into account the specificities of temperature change. This analysis is part of a complex study, during which the goal is to develop a methodology for to determine long-term natural gas consumption, taking temperature dependence into account.
