The negative black map of Le Corbusier was against the idea of the garden. But there were also exceptions. An example is the garden of the Casa Bloc by Josep Lluís Sert in Barcelona. Purpose of the research is to look into general theoretical issues of landscape and gardens in the 1920s-1940s in Europe. A special attention will be paid to Cecil Pinsent, the designer of the villa Sparta in Florence to the queen mother of Romania, Elena, in order to maintain connection to the home country.

Le Corbusier negatív fekete térképe ellenezte a kert gondolatát. De voltak kivételek is. Ilyen például Josep Lluís Sert barcelonai Casa Bloc kertje. A kutatás célja a táj és a kertek általános elméleti kérdéseinek vizsgálata az 1920-1940-es évek Európájában. Különös figyelmet kap Cecil Pinsent, a firenzei Sparta villa tervezője Elena román királynő anyjának, hogy a szülőföldhöz való kötődést fenntartsa.
