This study presents the long-term performance evaluation of the TAR-1 Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) antenna installed at Budapest International Airport. The reliable operation of SSR systems is essential for the safe and efficient management of air traffic [1]. The research aims to assess antenna degradation and identify faults using an in situ near-field measurement method combined with microwave holography. This approach enables accurate analysis of the antenna’s condition without disassembly. Results confirm the method's effectiveness in fault detection and maintaining system reliability.
Kivonat
A tanulmány a Budapest Nemzetközi Repülőtéren működő TAR-1 Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) antenna hosszú távú teljesítménymérésének eredményeit mutatja be.
