Abstract

The significant role of hydrogen in the transition to the current energy system without net emissions is obvious, the smart interconnection of renewable electricity. Most importantly, it does not emit CO2 and causes almost no air pollution when used. It thus offers a solution for the decarbonisation of industrial processes and economic sectors. In our article, we examine the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by different hydrogen production technologies.
