Abstract

The compilation is a selection of articles about Bolyais published in the Transylvanian Hungarian press before 1945. Based on this, it can be stated that, contrary to public opinion, quite a few articles were published about the Bolyai people, especially after the 1903 commemorations, and not only in the newspapers published in Kolozsvár and Marosvásárhely.

Az összeállítás az erdélyi magyar sajtóban 1945 előtt megjelent Bolyaiakról szóló írásokból válogat. Ennek alapján ki lehet jelenteni, hogy a közvélekedéssel ellentétben, nem kevés írás jelent meg a Bolyaiakkal kapcsolatban, főleg az 1903-as megemlékezések után, és nem csak kolozsvári és marosvásárhelyi lapokban.
