Central-European Olympiads in Informatics

Abstract

The Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) is an annual informatics competition for secondary school students. Each of the participating central European countries sends a team of up to four contestants, a team leader and a deputy team leader. The contest consists of two days of computer programming, solving problems of an algorithmic nature. The first CEOI was held in 1994 (Romania, founder of the CEOI), five years after the first IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics).

A Közép-európai Informatikai Olimpia (CEOI) egy évente megrendezett informatikai verseny középiskolások számára. Minden résztvevő közép-európai ország legfeljebb négy versenyzőből álló csapatot, egy csapatvezetőt és egy helyettes csapatvezetőt küld. A verseny két napos számítógépes programozásból áll, algoritmikus jellegű problémák megoldásával. Az első CEOI-t 1994-ben tartották (Románia, a CEOI alapítója), öt évvel az első IOI után.
