The relationship of mineral waters and the geological environment in the Borsec, Bilbor and Tulgheș basins
Keywords:
ásványvizek, ionok, korreláció, CaHCO3, CO2Abstract
This study focuses on the geochemical analysis of mineral water and gas compositions in the North- Eastern part of Harghita county, in Borsec- Bilbor and Tulghes basins. The identified facies refer to a Ca-HCO3 dominant mineral water type, with a slightly acidic and oxidative state. Sources for Ca2+and Mg2+ in the mineral waters are mainly carbonatic rocks (limestone and/or dolomite).
