The collection of the former associated professor Herman Fuchs was inventoried and classified in order to serve as the base of further studies. The 223 different fossils belong to 4 main groups (invertebrates, vertebrates, fossil plants and ichnofossils). Most of them were already published in on of Fuchs’ 35 scientific papers, but there are some which did not. The diversity and number of the fossils found in the collection are proof of the excellent and inspiring work of the late Herman Fuchs.
