Examination of the Hungarian Holy Crown with modern Quality Management Systems

Abstract

This lecture focuses on the manufacturing of the Hungarian Holy Crown from an engineering point of view. Using modern engineering tools such as the Quality Management System, that is well known in the auto motor industry, it can be proven that one of the main parts of the crown, the cross stap, was needed to be able to manufacture the other main part: the hoop. This contradicts previous assumptions that the hoop was manufactured earlier and separately from the cross-strap.
In order to create the Hungarian Crown, it was necessary to have a tricky soldering process that allowed multiple heatings in the same place without melting the previous solder

A Szent Koronát a modern autógyártásban használt minőségbiztosítási standardok segítségével vizsgáljuk. Sikerült bebizonyítani, hogy az alsó rész, az úgynevezett görög korona létrehozásához szükség volt a boltozatra, az úgynevezett latin koronára is.
A Szent Korona létrehozásához olyan trükkös forrasztási eljárásra volt szükség, ami lehetővé tette ugyanazon a helyen a többszörös forrasztást anélkül, hogy az előző forrasztás felolvadt volna
