Die Wirkungsgeschichte der Freiberger Bergakademie in Mittel- und Osteuropa – Könyvismertetés

Abstract

The book is a collection of papers by German, Russian, and Hungarian authors. The theme of the papers: the philosophical meaning of the mineralogical collection of Goethe, the importance of Werner in the Freiberg mining academy, and its influence on the development of mineralogy in Russia and in the Kingdom of Hungary at the turn of the 18^th and 19^th centuries. From these countries, a high number of students visited the academy. Several German mining experts and professors were invited to Russia that contributed to the establishment of scientific institutions and practical mining activity in the empire. In Hungary, the story of the marriage of Baron Károly Podmaniczky shows the indirect intellectual effect of Freiberg.

A könyv cikkgyűjtemény, a cikkek szerzői német, orosz és magyar kutatók. A cikkek témái: Goethe ásványgyűjteményének filozófiai jelentősége, Werner jelentősége a freibergi Bányászati Akadémián és jelentősége az ásványtan fejlődése szempontjából Oroszországban és Magyarországon a 18. és 19. század fordulóján. Ezekből az országokból sok tanuló látogatta az akadémiát. Oroszország számos bányász szakembert és professzort hívott meg, akiknek nagy szerepük volt az orosz tudományos intézmények megalapításában és a gyakorlati bányászati tevékenység irányításában. Magyarországon Freiberg közvetett szellemi hatását jól mutatja báró Podmaniczky Károly házasságának története.
