Organic chemical research activities at the Royal Hungarian Franz Joseph University

Abstract

The paper presents the organic chemical research activities carried out at the Royal Hungarian Franz Joseph University, whose outstanding personality was Rudolf Fabinyi. This work briefly reviews the most important scientific results obtained at the time that had an important impact and are the basics of current research in the field, and presents the role of Rudolf Fabinyi in the development of organic chemistry.

A tanulmány bemutatja a kolozsvári M. Kir. Ferenc József Tudományegyetem szerves kémiai kutatásait és Fabinyi Rudolf kiemelkedő szerepét. Megismerteti a legfontosabb tudományos eredményeket, melyek hatással vannak, de legalábbis kiindulópontjai a napjainkban folytatott vizsgálatoknak, valamint bemutatja Fabinyi Rudolf tudománytörténeti szerepét a szerves kémia tudományág kialakulásában.
