Abstract

The High Performance Concrete (HPC) as well as Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) provide a major step in the development the different concrete types. This definition reflects properties that are beyond the the properties of conventional concretes (see details in the article). A special form of HPC-UHPC concretes is the tailor made concrete. These types of concretes are finding their ways both to new structures and to retrofitting of existing structures.

A nagy teljestőképességű beton, ill. ultra nagy teljestőképességű beton a betonok fejlődésének fontos állomásait jelentik. Definíciójuk magában foglalja mindazokat a beton tulajdonságokat, amik a szokványos betonok tulajdonságain túlmutatnak (lásd részletesen a cikkben). A nagy teljestőképességű betonok egy megjelenési formája az előre megadott tulajdonságokra készülő (tailor made concrete) betonokat jelentik. Mindezen beton típusok előnyösek új szerkezetek építéséhez valamint szerkezetek rekonstrukciójához.
